Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game is being developed by Koei Tecmo Games and published by Nintendo. The game will go on sale in 2026. it will be the third game in the series. It will be first in the series to be canon in the timeline of The Legend of Zelda.
Story
The game tells the untold story of the Imprisoning War, a pivotal event in Hyrule's history that led to the events of "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom". Age of Imprisonment is set in the ancient past of Hyrule during the Era of Myth.
