Mario & Luigi: Inside Bowser's Story is the second sequel in the series.  The game was released on September 14, 2009 in North America.

     The game uses the touch screen more this time then in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.  Mario and Luigi are swallowed by Bowser.  They must locate Princess Toadstool and several Toads lost in Bowser's body.

     Players will also be able to control Bowser and he roams around the Mushroom Kingdom to get revenge on Fawful.  Fawful has released a disease throughout the Mushroom Kingdom that changes all the Toads into "blorps".  The map on the game is approximately 4x bigger then Partners in Time. 

     The game receive great reviews.  Some critics said it was the best game in the series so far.  The game sold 3.72 million copies since its release.
