The Nintendo 3DS XL went on sale on in Japan and in Europe June 21, 2012 and in North America on July 28, 2012. The unit currently sells for $199. Parents can keep track of activities with the Activity Log. The system also features an Internet Browser, Netflix, and Hulu Plus. As of February 2017, the Nintendo 3DS, 3DS, and 2DS have currently sold 65 million units. The 3DS XL alone has sold over 9 million units. Both the 3DS and 3DS XL are compatible with nearly all Nintendo DS games. Games can also be purchased through the Nintendo e-Shop. Games from the NES to the original Game Boy are available. |
