Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World

     Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World was developed by Good-Feel and published by Nintendo. The game was released on February 3, 2017 in North America and Europe. It was an enhanced version of the Wii U game.

     The 3DS version featured more amiibo support. amiibo continue to give Yoshi various patterns based on the scanned amiibo. A Poochy amiibo was released alongside the game. Multiplayer mode was removed from this version.

     The game was enhanced for the New Nintendo 3DS that allows it to run smoother and at 60 FPS. The game only runs at 30 FPS on 3DS/2DS systems.

     The game received positive reviews. It was nominated for the 2017 The Game Awards "Best Handheld Game" but it lost to Metroid: Samus Returns. As of January 2018, the game has sold 500,000 copies.
