Pokémon Shuffle was the first game Nintendo released as a free game.  The object of the game is to match up at least three Pokémon and clear them off the stage.  Upon defeating the opposing Pokémon, players have a chance to capture that Pokémon and add it to their own.

The game's graphics are fairly basic and they don't use the 3D graphics.  The music in the game is fairly generic but each group of stages feature its own music.

Gems are required to purchase additional coins or lives.  They are fairly expensive and are hard to come by in the game.

The game controls are fairly easy to learn.  Streetpass functions well in the game and sometimes you can get additional lives for reaching a milestone or passing the same person again.

The online features include competitions.  These generally give Mega Stones or gems for competing in the tournament.

The game functions well as something to pass the time.  It is worth checking out since it is a free game.
