The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a remake of the Nintendo 64 classic game.  The game was developed by Nintendo with help from Grezzo.  The game was published by Nintendo.  The game was released on February 13, 2015 in North America and the next day worldwide alongside the New Nintendo 3DS.  To celebrate the release of the game, Nintendo released a limited edition New Nintendo 3DS featuring the logo.  Nintendo also produced limited edition special bundles that feature either the Skull Kid figurine (North America) or Majora's Mask pin (Europe).

The game featured enhanced stereoscopic 3D graphics, touchscreen controls, and gyroscopic features.  Like the original, the game follows Link, who is given only three days to save the land of Termina from being crushed by its moon.  He used various abilities obtained by wearing different masks.  The remake featured altered boss battles, rearranged features and added fishing to the game.

With the processing power of the Nintendo 3DS, the game has less loading time then it did on the Nintendo 64.  Several changes to the original gameplay were also made.  Changes including moving locations around such as relocation of the bombers and the three Stray Fairies locations in Woodfall Temple and one in Snowhead Temple.

A patch was released for the game on February 27, 2015.  It removed several bugs from the game.

The game was met with positive reviews.  As of January 2018, the game has currently sold 2,470,000 copies.
