Multiplayer mode for this game can be accessed by LAN, WiFi, and Download Play (in which only the host is required to own a copy of the game). '

The game received positive reviews.  Critics complained about the lack of checkpoints in the game and having to restart the mission after dying.  As of May 2015, the game has sold over 5,200,000 copies.
