Kirby: Planet Robobot

     Kirby Planet Robobot was the second Kirby game released for the Nintendo 3DS. The game was developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. The game was released on April 28, 2016 in Japan and June 10, 2016 in North America and Europe.

     Planet Robobot follow the same style of gameplay as Kirby Triple Deluxe. The visual style and music also replicate the previous game. Unlike Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot was compatible with the Kirby amiibo. Four new amiibo were released alongside the game.

     A massive spacecraft named the Access Ark conquers and mechanizes Kirby's home planet, Popstar. King Dedede and Meta Knight try to fight back, but Castle Dedede and the Halberd are both destroyed by the ship's laser weapons. Once Kirby wakes up, it is up to him to restore Popstar.

     Reviews for the game have been mostly positive. The game was praised for its characters, level design, and visuals. As of January 2018, the game has sold over 1,360,000 million copies.
