Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. was released on March 13, 2015 in North America and in Japan and Europe in May 2015.  The game was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo.

The game is turn-based strategy game.  Players use characters that have steam tanks that are used for a variety of things including moving around and weapons.

Players control the characters that are named Agents of S.T.E.A.M.  The characters fight against aliens and take orders from President Abraham Lincoln.  Additional characters from the Fire Emblem series can be added into the game by scanning the respective compatible amiibo figurines.

The game’s graphics are based on reading a comic book.  Famous actors such as Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek: TNG/DS9) and Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher from Star Trek: TNG) lent their voices to the game.

The game received mixed reviews.  Reviews mostly were negative on the enemies’ turn taking too long.  Nintendo released a patch that speed this up.  The game has sold less than 220,000 copies worldwide.
