Rocket League was previous released for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.  Rocket League is a hybrid arcade soccer and a driving car game.  Rocket League is being developed for the Nintendo Switch, OS X, and Linux PCs.  The Switch version was released in late 2017.  The game will retail for $19.99.  A collector's edition is available at retail locations for $39.99.  It will launch January 16, 2018 in North America.

     The Switch version has exclusive customization items and battle-cars.  The Switch version will have online cross-network play with Windows PC and Xbox One.  Sony refuses to allow cross play with the PlayStation 4.  Up to 8 players can battle in online play.  Up to four players will be able to battle in Switch TV mode.

     The game has sold six million copies in the other formats.  Rocket League has been adopted as an e-Sport.  Rocket League has won over 150 awards.
