Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an upcoming remake of the 2004 Nintendo GameCube game. The game will be released on May 24, 2024.

 

      The game will feature updated graphics but character designs will remain to those that appeared in the original game.  There are new gameplay elements in the game.  These include new items such as Nostalgic Tunes badge which resembles a GameCube and equipping it will cause the music to revert to the GameCube music.   Several of these new gameplay elements are inspired from Paper Mario: Color Splash and Paper Mario: The Origami King.
